Roy Hasluck bcame involved in the Stanleys in 1983, initially as chauffeur for Pauline. From someone who had not interest in acting Roy became an active and important member of the group. Unfortunately Roy passed away in 2001 and is sadly missed.

Pauline Hasluck a long time theatre lover joined the Stanleys in 1981. Initially not interested in acting, she was stage struck after her first part. She not only loved to act but directed too, and therefore it was a great loss to all when she passed away in 2003.
Vera Bishop (former Secretary) was a long standing member of the Stanleys and had been with the group for approximately 50 years. Vera retired to gain extra time for other hobbies.
Mary Logan (Ex.Social Secretary)
She first "got the bug" for Amateur Dramatics five years ago – her first role with Stage 27 was in Play On at the Old Rep Theatre in 2003. Mary left Stage27 in 2007 to move to the coast.
Geoff Lawrence was another long standing member of the group and a great asset to the group. Geoff got involved with acting, stage managing and many other duties involved in theatre. After retiring with wife June unfortunately Geoff sadly passed away.
June Lawrence was bitten by the acting bug in her local church youth club in 1946. The theatre soon became a proved life long passion. June retired from the group with her husband Geoff and was missed immensely. She loved to act and direct bringing much knowledge and skills to the group.
Sandra Wells joined the Stanleys when she was borrowed from another group to play in "Bonaventure". Sandra is an active member of the "Limelight Players" and has performed in many productions. She unfortunately left Stanleys to allow more time for the Limelights.
Neil Faulks joined the Stanleys in 1986 and landed his first part in A Murder is Announced. He became a regular member, acting in many other productions until he decided to leave the Stanleys.
Ellen Leek joined the Stanleys in 1986 with no experience of the theatre. She soon found that she loved acting and became a regular member. Ellen left the Stanleys in the 90's.
Jonas Kemm joined the Company in 1998 for "Caught Napping". As a drama student Jonas was able to adapt to all types of roles with the group. A great asset to the Stage27, Jonas left us to develop his acting skills in London.

Melanie Humphreys was persuaded to join the Stanleys by a work colleague in 1997. Melanie became a popular member of the Group before leaving to do other things.
Denise Murray joined the Stanleys and was soon a valid member of the group. She performed in every Production after joining and became Chairperson after which unfortunately she shortly left to became super nanna!

Rob Evans joined the Stanleys in 2001 for "Trivial Pursuits". Rob enjoyed his time with the Stanleys but unfortunately all god things have to come to an end.
James Barker joined the group in 2002 coaxed by Melanie. James stayed with the group a couple years starring in few productions before running off due to work committments.
Sam Mitschke joined STAGE27 in 2006 for their 2007 production by Agatha Christie.
Andrew Morgan joined STAGE27 in 2006 with his first production being in 2007.

Barry Ahern
Jonathan Goodwin, having bitten the bullet and allowed the acting bug to
give him a quick nip in return, has refused to bow to public pressure and
has opted instead to follow his dreams and cram as much stage experience
into his noggin as he possibly can. Previous roles include an Ugly Sister
and Old Nick, the Devil himself. Jonathan has left Stage27 to pursue other interests.
Lorna Shelley used to belong to a drama group (though
some time ago) in Liverpool called 'Network', Interests in the theatre include
late nineteenth century and Irish
plays. She found out about Stage27 from the website and thought it looked like a good group to join. Lorna took a break from the Group to concentrate on her studies.
Richard Crofts (previous Chairman)
joined the Stanley’s in 1997 and has appeared in many Productions. He has played various roles, directed various One Act Productions but is taking a sabbatical from the Company to spend time with his wife Sharon and little boy Louis.
Sharon Crofts (previous Secretary)
joined the Stanleys in 1998 and has appeared on stage but preferred to work backstage in direction, stage management and Front Of House. An invaluable member of the Company, Sharon has left Stage27 to spend more time with her family - husband Richard and son Louis. We hope that she and Richard will return in the future.

Joanne Goulding (previous Publicity Officer)
joined the Stanley's in May 1996 to play Teri in “Murder on centre Stage” to gain acting experience.
Jo has taken a more of a back seat role for the group recently as she is currently working on the family life.
Berni Murray is currently having time out from the Company but we hope to see her soon.
Patrick Ryan is an international man of mystery with several vocations and names to his credit.
He has appeared in many theatre productions, done a great deal of electrical work and managed the building of many sets. He is currently taking a sabbatical from Stage27 to work on other projects.

Jaz Davison originally hails from the sunny state of Los Angeles, California but has been a closet Anglophile most of her life. She came here for the educational opportunities for her son and the weather and joined Stage27 in 2007. She has been involved in theatre most of her life and been directing for a large amount of this. Jaz is currently directing another Production.

Meg Vincent joined the Company in 2008 to take up the role of Ruby in David Tristram's Ghost Writer. Meg has since moved away and has left Stage27.
Sam Bicknell joined Stage27 for their performance of Ghostwriter in 2008, but left to concentrate on his studies.
Sarah Wassall joined the Company in 2007 for Stage27's 3-4-1 Part Deux Production. Her performance in Joining The Club helped lead the Group into the BFAME Festival Competition in 2008. Sarah has taken a break from the Group to concentrate on other projects.
Sonia Krstic
joined Stage27 in 1996 for their production of ‘Bonaventure’. Other productions include There Goes the Bride, Find the Lady and Murder in Play. Sonia is currently taking a sabbatical but we hope will rejoin us in the future.

June Tyler comes and goes with the Stanleys as she and the group feel fit. Lets just say June has filled in on many occasions!

 

Sarah Hennessey became involved in the Stanleys in 1998 for the production "Caught Napping". Sarah enjoyed her time at the Stanleys and found it great fun but unfortunately due to other commitments left the group after a few years.
